Professor D started in 1989 as an all-original band playing an eclectic fusion of funk, dance, and silliness. The V-Posse Horns, mixes dance steps with zany stage antics and great chemistry to become one of the band’s biggest trademarks.   Professor D plays over dozens of shows in any given month of the year- they are musically tight and they’ll always leave you wanting MORE!Playing music for all audiences Professor D guarantees to keep the party going!   Add a little country flair too- as veterans of Toby Keith's band are regular members of Professor D.  Country to Disco to Funk to Southern Rock- they've got it all!Professor D has cranked out original music and released two CDs – “Certified Funky” and “Certified Funky 2.”  These guys and gal are guaranteed to keep the party rockin’ with costume changes, driving dance music and audience rapport like no other!
